• The term Homeopathy was coined by its founder, Dr. Samuael Hahnemann, in the late 18th century, based on the Greek word “homoios,” meaning similar.

• Homeopathy medicine works by stimulating the body’s own defense system into action. 

• This action can be compared to inserting a key into the lock of body’s inherent defense.

• Even though this is not our mainstay, sometimes it has helped us with allergy and some chronic cases.

Homeopathy is one of the modalities used by the holistic veterinarian. It is is based on the principle that a substance which in large dose will cause the symptoms of an illness can be used in minute doses to relieve the same symptoms.
